Does anyone know of a good circuit track close to nyc?

 

Monticello motor club is about 90 minutes away or so, I heard its a great track but im not sure how many more up coming events they have now.

 

englishtown nj also has a pretty new road course you should check out.

 

I forgot about Englishtown, Lime rock park in Connecticut is two hours away also.

MMC typically closes in mid-November and planning to open an offroad track in 2012. 4.1 miles, about 22 turns and some good elevation changes. Witness some track ready MRs tearing it up.....

 

Englishtown's track is a complete piece of crap, don't waste your time.

Monticello is a members only club, if you can afford the 125k (or whatever insane number it is) then it is a great track.

NJMP is your best bet, (southern NJ, Millville) they have two full size tracks, and many clubs run there 9 months out of the year. Just hook up with one of them and your good to go.

 

NASA (www.nasane.com) runs all the tracks around here, including Monticello. 2012 schedule should be posted shortly.

 

i would go for monticello , lime rock , thunderbolt.

these the ones it is really worth to go.

NASA has the schedule up a few TBD dates though, Monticello no longer rents out to car clubs.
