Jersey winters

What do you guys run for our winters here? I'm debating between the WS-60 and the LM-60

Either will be good. Its debatable whether you care for a high performance snow, or one for deep snow traction. Personally, I prefer deep snow traction over the high performance.

That's why I asked specifically in this region's subforum. You guys are experienced with the amount of snow we tend to see.

I prefer a perfomance snow myself.

These cars are good enough that you shouldn't have to worry about getting stuck anywhere with a perf snow tire. All while still maintaining very good dry/wet performance. I used Michelin PA2's for 6 season's without issues. I just replaced them last year with another performance snow tire, thought about going with a regular, but couldn't bring myself to do it.

Good Luck

Vredestein on the truck and Nokian Hakkas on the Evo, if I deceide to take her out in the snow. I may lose the Hakkas for Vreds on the Evo soon.

FWIW, I just picked up a set of General Altimax Arctic's for my fiancees car. Let me say that I have been a firm supporter of Blizzaks for many years now but after doing some research the Arctics scored higher then the blizzaks in almost every catergory. They are also CR highest rated and bonus much cheaper then the blizzaks.

Tire rack didn't bring those up for me. Are they available in the OEM size?

Apologies for my noobness in advance

I have had the Generals since last winter. Great tires and much cheaper than the Blizzaks for sure.

I apologize, I failed to recognize that you drive a X. I searched for an VIII/IX.

Just due to cost? Or something else?
