No one spotted a PB X MR on RT. 46W in Little Falls, parked at the gas station next to Park West Diner. The Driver was arrested!!! lol I was the driver!!!
I would pay money to see pics if anyone happened to take one.
****ing warrant arrest for not paying a ticket for tinted windows that I forgot about.

Im just pissed that they arrest you in handcuffs for not paying a fine considered pocket change, if its criminal sure handcuffs.
The officer asked if I wanted to go to little falls Police station and pay the fine and court cost so everything will be clean, im like yes officer that would be great , im like this is easy no big deal, only hes like step out and put your hands here I have to put you in handcuffs. I dindt refuse everything went fine, hes like dont worry it only takes 30 minutes and ill bring you back to your car.
Did all that he brought me back and I was free to go.
****ing arrested in handcuffs, thats what I think was wrong. whats the big deal if I followed him to the station? By the way my license is 100% clean. when your license is 100% clean like mine lol i guess you think your invincible.

Dont make my dumb *** mistake and make sure to pay your ticket no matter how stupid the fine is because they will find you. lol
I removed my front tints last week too, dont want to be pulled over for tints anymore!!!!!

sorry for my rant

Went to lunch one day. Decided to take a quick nap before going back to work. Woke up to police tapping my window with baton. Long story short arrested for failure to pay registration ticket. Had to call work let them know i would be taking a long lunch due to arrest. Police brought me to atm uncuffed me i got money. Then placed back in cuffs, booked paid and released. Cops picked me up down the street from station and brought me back to my car. Fort Lee NJ walgeens parking lot near GWB. Went back into walgreens to pickup pioson ivy cream. The woman at counter loudly said so everyone could hear! Werent u just arrested? Just to add, they originaly said i was being arrested for deadbeat dad! LoL i told em they got the wrong guy( like they never heard that before) after spelling my name right, goodnews..... Not a deadbeat dad but your still coming with us ... Unpaid ticket in keyport nj

^ In Pennsylvania if you plead guilty to expired registration and pay the fine, you automatically lose your license for 1yr. I had a friend that had it happen to him, talk about being effed up.

MR EVO, the cop cuffing you is for his own safety, SOP for most situations. That sucks though, glad it all worked out.

Op, that's the regulation. If he had not cuffed you he probably would have gotten in trouble. He sounded like a nice guy though.

It was just weird, he frisked me, took everything out of my pockets then said ok put everything back in your pocket and turn around.
Another lesson learned the hard way!

Wow, that is some serious business. At least everything went by calmly without conflict. Out of curiosity, are you required to have a front license plate too?

Yes front plate is mandatory, he walked over to the front looking to see if I had it on.

Unfortunately its protocol, my best friend is a state trooper and I always give him sh*t about stories like this, but that fact of the matter is that he has pulled so many people over (with 100% clean driving record) for window tint/failure to display front plate/ speeding and had people run or pull guns/knifes on him. Sure you’re a nice guy you were completely cooperative, things went smoothly and I’m sure the officer really appreciated it. Just keep in mind there’s people that despise the police and are not hesitant to hurt or attempt to kill when given the opportunity. So sure it’s seemed like overkill for you who is normal but at the end of the day the officer is just trying to protect him self and the public.

Also I completely agree I think that the officer should just issue another fine or tack on a late fee, bringing you to the police station is ridicules in my opinion but cant bash him for standard procedure.

It sucks to hear your story brother but I'm glad it didn't end any worse.
I've been running my cars without front plates and light tints for a couple of years now being relatively lucky - only stopped twice but let go with warning. This was before the Evo, I don't think that I am going to be so lucky in it though.
NJ ain't easy!
