There was a forum post on their site with regard to their "Meets" that is, as a front or distraction for street racing.. since there are now serious fines and other repercussions with even participating as a spectator. I saw a post specifically talking about how they piggyback into legitimate car shows/gatherings to arrange activities. Since I know the show, and the location, there's rarely issues or problems specifically with the clubs getting together.. But my concern is somehow being affiliated or associated with underground street racing. I'm assuming most of you guys don't really mind, but read through their forums, they've got alot of cool posts on there, but obviously focused towards street racing. Funny thing is I think I know some of those guys.

Thats all I meant by my post.

Well a lot of us know, especially in Evo-NY, that we don't act like idiots when rolling up or in the parking lot. We will/should show up maturely and looking hot

See thats how I am.. anyone who knows me, knows that I generally like talking about cars, and don't "Show off".. It should be fun regardless.. I guess I'm getting paranoid in my old age..

I will definitely be their. A buddy of mine is autocrossing his Porsche 911 C4S and wants me to autocross my Evo, however last year I opted not to autocross my S2000 and might go the same way this year also.

PCA is generally not to fond of the extra activities in the parking lot. I have heard in years past their have been problems that almost caused the autocross not to happen even though it was not related.

Yes ... the PCA club has 3 or 4 autocross events at Tobay each year. They are not connected in any way to the people hanging out in the parking lot and I believe you need to have a friend who is a PCA member in order to race.

Hey that meet last week in Linden there were some idiots racing around. We all have evos and know what they sound like and the noise the BOV makes. I do not see the need to race around a parking lot and draw attention to everyone. Its not like you are going to impress us we all have the same car. Especially since the cops are everywhere now.
