did 3 hot laps on A6 yesterday at Summit. so much grip, didn't event push the tires to their limit. need to relearn how to drive the car on these sticky tires. ran 3 seconds faster than my last time there on R6 and TTA trim. there are definitely more time left on these tires. i wasn't even going to run them because there was only two person in my class and i was already winning on street tires. i figured i'd try them out for a few laps since i already brought them. i don't think the tires were even up to temp after 3 hot laps. it was 8:30 session and i think track temp was in 60's.

^ that CEL flashing is my traction control

car hasn't been on dyno yet, just some street tune.
notice the oil pressure gauge in the middle, see the oil pressure dropping during hard right hand turn. i'll be getting the Kiggly HLA soon and see if that will help.

^You need that baffled pan son! Take it off and get your friend to mod it; like Buschur's.

Consistent to say the least. I think I could have had lower times if my lines and inputs were smoother. I went faster than I should have in some section and didn't brake early enough in others. On a plus note, no cones were harmed in any of my runs.

1st run 76.156
2nd run 65.109
3rd run 65.484
4th run 65.558
5th run 63.145
6th run 64.888

Agreed! A lot of people don't even get a run in that counts their first time out.

You had Fineberg as an instructor, T?

Switching subjects...

Check out my ST43's, I removed these on Saturday. I'm not sure exactly how many days they have on them, but its gotta be just over a dozen. Some street miles also, but once again, not sure how much. I feel like these things last forever! You guys who use the Carbotechs, I strongly suggest you give these pads a try.
