Car not passing RI inspection
Car not passing RI inspection
See my thread for a full description of my problem but here's the cliff notes version:

The evap system is reading as incomplete when they plug in the OBD, car is completely stock. If anyone has a tactrix cable or something else that can help me reset the system, or anything else that would help me out it would be much appreciated. I am very much willing to meet you to get the issue solved, just trying to figure out a solution. Thanks!

In rhode island you can have two monitors that aren't ready I have passed multiple cars by pulling the batterey terminals off going thew the drive cycles and checking with a scan tool.
Could you clarify a bit...so even if one thing is showing not ready, I should be able to pass still (most recent law)? And are you saying that I should just disconnect the battery and drive for a bit until it clears? Thanks, just trying to get this sorted out as quickly as possible.
In rhode island you can have two readiness sensors incomplete and still pass. I don't understand why you didn't pass with just one not ready. Also sometimes if you reset the ecu and drive it threw the drive cycles it will go threw. I haven't had this problem with an evo but I have done it with other cars just disconnect the batterey for a minute or two and put it back together and try and drive it. The two non ready monitors isn't recent law. Talk to your local state inspection station just to verify this.
