Rochester BBQ 2012 (sept 15)
Sorry this is a little short notice for some people.
Every year, the Rochester DSM group organizes a gathering and BBQ to bring the cars and the group together. It is typically at my house, and this year seems to be growing in nature, so I figured I might as well invite the masses.
We have the food catered by a local rib and BBQ joint and throw a bunch of activities onto the agenda. This year the food is coming from Sticky Lips BBQ.
Who: Friends, members, families and affiliates of Rochester DSM. Essentially means bring everybody you want.
When: September 15th - Noon til dusk
Where: Penfield NY 14526
While my address is no secret, I am trying to keep a count of who is coming, so PM me for the actual address, so I can keep track of who is coming for the food order.
RSVP by September 12th, so we can get a final count into Sticky Lips for the order.
There are some fun things going on this year.
We have a detail shop giving lessons on polishing techniques.
We are going to setup some welding stations (mig and tig) for anybody who wants to try throwing an arc and learning to weld.
Our neighbors run Hostile Racing, which makes performance parts for RC cars. They are bringing some of the large gas powered cars out for some hot laps in the back field.
