i totally forgot what the legal percentage of tinting is in NJ...
and will my car fail inspection if i put these bad boys on when the time comes? or will i have to take the ****ers off when it comes time to do it...??

Get like 35% that should be legal.

 

You should find the legal limit by doing a Google search...get the tint dude; it dramatically improves the look! Good luck...keep us updated!

 

I say get the tints, You'll need it just in case things get out of hand every now and then u know?

 

in jersey, u can have any tint percentage u want as long as you dont have any tint at all in the front two windows. if you do tint the front windows, you will fail inspection.. . instead of having to take out the tint and put it back on again, just go to any authorized mechanic that does inspection and pay $60 or something like that. i know ben (smoktout) told me he got pulled over for his 35% tints quite a few times but thats only in his area.. here in jersey city, cops could care less.. my friends got like 10% tints and still no problems yet.. so it all depends on your area

 

im in north jersey and got 20% all around and have only gotten pulled over once..and that was down coming out of a car show at englishtown...so i think u will be fine

To me tints are ghetto
But the more important reason I would never tint my car is because I like to see better all day and night long.
During night time tints are a *****.
During speeding tints are a *****.
During overtaking tints are a *****.
During city driving and changing lanes tints are a *****.

But OZ is more show than go so he can tint

 

LOL...one of the reasons i like my tints so much is becuase i don't get the sun beaming on the side of my face, we all know the visors can only cover so much...I can understand with the night driving, but that's something you get used to. Just my .02

 

I have 35% tint all around...no problem here ... Obed let me know if u need a place for tints... the guy that did mine lives two blocks away from me...cheap too

 

Just put the 2 front windows down then...plus it's not that hard to see out of tint while driving.

 

Problem solved and you can even DIY .... These work pretty well we did it to my friends minivan. Come inspection time just take em off and reapply.. Easy to take out air bubbles easy install trust me and they are pretty resistant to fading.
