I personally, don't attend these meets. Not bashing MT or anything. I've been to one garage meet last winter, and I will never go again. The people in MT are mostly down-to-earth. But there is a small select group of individuals that will steal stuff from cars, smoke weed, do burnouts, all of which causes problems for the other people at the meets. I remember driving home after that meet and having about 20-30 racerboys flying by me (probably 100-120+) on I-95 heading North.
I don't want to associate myself with immature actions of immature people.
I've heard good things about Masstuning as a whole, and I love the idea behind it. I am always a supporter of charity events. Masstuning seems to do well in those events. I think with a little bit more security, or some douchebag-cleansing, MT has potential to be a great meet for people that just appreciate the cars and friends they have in the scene. Like I said, I don't mean to bash MT, I just wanted to have my opinion out there.
Maybe with some better planning, security, and banning of certain members, you may see me at one of the meets in the future.
