BTW - do any of you guys ever make it up to orange county?

They have some car shows set up in Middletown on Friday nights, (starting in the spring ) Imports, Classics, Vettes, Muscle Cars - even Drag cars some times. Also my dealer has told me that they are going to hold some car shows in their lot this year.(Dont know which days though) They specifically told me to mention this so they can get a bunch of people to attend if there is any interest in this. Imports, Evo's, Girls, Music, Lancers, Evo's, Girls, and did i forget to mention, Girls & Evo's....

The Dealership had a couple of shows last year - ( havent personally attended - bought car too late last year ) and they awarded trophys etc. Spoke to Peter the Sales Manager and he said he would like to have a huge turnout this year. Think anyone would be interested???? - Holla back at me

Peter said it was awesome - we'll have to meet up sometime. It would be awesome to get a bunch of evo's togeather. Did you plan on getting any mods yet

I don't live up there, but I love to drive up there! I was up there almost every weekend last summer.

 

Wassup Cam....I live in Stone Ridge. About 2 miles from Ulster Comm. College. Off Rt 213 heading towards the resevior..
My dad and I are in the middle of replacing my cams.
The exhaust is in. Now for the intake.
It was easier than I thought it would be.

Did you get your evo from Dutchess ??
They had a silver one. I test drove it, but wanted yellow so they got me one.

Don't have my car on the road yet. When I finish all the mods, I will be over to Pruven to get it
all dialed in.
After that I'm good to go for some hanging out.

hotncold - I heard about the shows in Middletown.
Perhaps we can all converge and make the honda guys sweat...

I know one of the guys who works in the next building (Lincoln Mercury and Ford) has a new cobra rumored to have over 600 hp..Would be interesting to see how that runs

hotncold- Yeah I'm gonna eventually do some mods, taking my time though and deciding what I'm gonna do. I tend to get bored with my cars so I will slowly mod this one to keep my interest.

Anyway- it would be awesome for all us locals to get together, I have 2 good friends that live right by me with Evos and a few other hot imports...let me know, we have to arrange something.

I went to Healey when I was looking to buy, but they didn't want to sell me a car then.

How do I know this ?? Because they wanted MSRP+$5K. That was last June.

I hope you both did better.

I should be ready to roll in April. The first place you may find me is at Etown at the DSM/Evo day.

 

Hmm...you're in Warwick? Where abouts? At this moment I am in Warwick at New England Tech for class...I got an apartment in Providence. I also met a guy in Providence leaving work with a red Evo, and has a buddy with a white Evo I am supposed to meet up with. Maybe set up a little meet.

 

nice numbers. WOW turbo trix does some wonderful things. I wonder if they could get 264 or even 272's idling nicely cuz if they can I've got a new best friend

MikesEvo - yea - i got a good deal at healy - cheaper than other places - maybe it was a salesperson - i've become pretty friendly with all the guys down there - and Peter the sales manager - said that was the case for like the first 2 evos - then they went to sticker - thats what i paid -

 

turbo trix did not perform that work, we did at healey. and since they "tuned it" it went into boost cut off and check engine light came on. we had to change it back to the original settings. tuning on a dyno is not the same as driving on the open road.
