Hope you're kidding because they didn't deliver any *street legal* Evos because they can not get them through US homologation.

And Scott was probably kidding when he said he's paying a lot. $600 a year is the cheapest you can pay for any type of car. I was paying more for my 1998 Accord with _only liability_.

Anyways, insurance depends on many many factors, some of which are age, driving record and zip code.
Since you live in joy-riding capitol you can expect your rates to be higher than most others.
NJM is New Jersey Manufactureres and the only way you can be with them is if you meet the terms listed on their website (www.njm.com). They are one of the best insurance companies in NJ but not everyone qualifies.

As far as I know this car can not be leased only financed and I took the 60 months option, put only $1k or $2k down with 3.9% apr = $530 a month. My insurance is $1380/year at NJ-Re but that shouldn't mean much to you as you will definitely get a much higher rate for being below 25 and living in one of the Oranges.

IM 28 years old 1 accident from 1998. No tickets. I have NJM and I pay $1600 a year for my EVO and nissan Sentra. They a re a great insurance company, I already had to use them because my evo got broken into. They quote top dollar!!! Bottom line is it pays to be older and have a clean driving record.

I see that most people are quoting thier insurance on here but i would also like to know monthly payments on your car so i can get a better estimate at how much I will have to pay. I.E Total Car value , monthly payment, term, interest rate.

I'm 23, no tickets, no wrecks, clean record, using NJ Cure, I pay $2600/year. My deductibles are very high: $1500. Best way to get the rates down. That and lying.

just cause a company sells imported cars doesn't mean that they are street legal... they can sell them for track use only.... that is how they get around it

Do a search for EI. There's a mega thread somewhere explaining some things about them.
Also as far as I remember from the thread their official address is at Cayman Islands.
That alone would be a turn off for me. Search is your friend

You must be very young to make a statement like this.
Yes, it's easy to get an inspection sticker but think about this. You're driving and someone hits you in the back.
Unless you hit the gas and run (someone may remember your license plates), Police will come over and make an assesment.
If they find out your car has everything illegal on it (glass, seatbelts, tail lights, headlights, illegal inspection sticker etcetc), even if the other driver was guilty, your car may be impounded (especially in NJ or NY) and bye bye $50k. Think about it.
If you have ****load of cash and think it's worth it, ask your father if he needs another son, I'm always willing to be adopted
Then again, if you're "connected", everything is possible but I rather stay away from mafia.
