That is the time and place for it and that is what EvolvedfromaWRX is saying. If you think you're being singled out, I can only recommend Prozac, Zoloft, Wellbutrin, etc. I don't care who it is that does it, to attach a stigma to our local club in the eyes of security, police, etc. is only going to attract the kind of attention that we really do not need.

I remember at the last autocross of the year at Orchard Beach, there were a bunch of Evo's ripping around the parking lot and I'm willing to bet that they're going to be watching us with a discriminate eye this season.

Yeah, I have an Evo, but I also have enough common sense to know when and where and how to drive it.

Well, the how still confuses me sometimes, but you get the idea.

 

i'm a lancer through and through, i won't ever be getting an evo, but i still think that they are magnificient cars with a lot of capabilities, right right, we all know , save it for the track, but you know what, street racing exists, and if your going to tell me that a majority of the evo owners are "older, safer, and matured" drivers i think its the biggest bull****, theres a lotta guys out there who reallly do you know what their doing and don't go crazy, but there are so many kids my age racing around in evos, and thats the majority, 18-26, so dont ***** about a "particular lancer" going fast in a straight line, what point are YOU trying to prove by doing so, nothing went on at that meet that doesn't normally happen, dont go complaining about some high rpm driving because you know you all do it, and i bet you never seen a turboed lancer EVER, so be happy you were graced with ones presence

it really wasn't ghetto at all Mike. Thing is security came over after one of the guys gave Obed a ride in his Turbo (yes turbo) lancer. So he was gunnin' it showin Obed what a turbo auto lancer can do. So as a result this thread went up..at first there was a discussion if u will as to why the lancers were being "singled out" but we've established that this thread didn't go up ONLY because of they ride given to Obed, BUT rather for whomever acted in an inappropriate manner as to attract the attention of the always tough, always respected garden state plaza security team.

It was mutually agreed upon that none of the parties involved want to reflect a negative image amongst themselves, their respective clubs and the authorities..

 

hehehehe, i think its funny, this whole thread, not the seriousness of unintelligent actions, but ill stop

 

if anything the meet was awesome, there were a ton of scoobies, ton of evos, and a ton of lancers, i really thought it was cool, and i had no problems with the meet at all, so i dont know why everyone is in a tizzy, chill the *** out, AIGHT, i already admitted as to what i did and ****, im not going to lie or hide or anythin, watever, nothing bad happened, i think a MOD should CLOSE this thread so no one can reply to it because it isnt serving any purpose but for people to let out bull**** that has happened to them which doesnt apply to the meet itself

and also something that will let EVERY ****ING MEMBER IN HERE KNOW... to not dog out eachother's cars just cuz one's an evo, and the other one's a regular lancer...
