hey everyone, I'm relocating my job from Chicago area to Farmington CT.... are there any local meets in the area? I hope I'm not alone out there! Where's the local 1/4 track?

 

There is a quarter mile track in epping, New hampshire, thats in southern NH, probably still a haul for you. New England Dragway is the name of the track

 

You've got Raceway Park in Englistown, Nj.

They're having a mistubishi day there april 24th, u should def. go to that one.

Cerious Performance and Sport Technik are both in CT as well, although Sport Technik is a bit of a haul for you. You will be much closer to Lime Rock, that's a real nice road course.

For you Lebonon Valley drag strip will be aprox 1 hour and 30 minutes,N.E. dragway would be an easy 2 1/2 hours away.
Pruven is less than an hour ride.Hope you like the inexpensive gas around here,I hear in chicago it's like 2:25 a gallon or more
for 93 octane.

 

thanks guys for the info... I'll try to be at etown for the mitsu day. Gas is about 1.95 for 93 in the suburbs, when I visited Farmington, it was about the same. Anyone know if 104 unleaded is available in the area?

 

From my experiences in New England, 104 octane is only availible at the track

 

It is available at the pump @Jonnies mobil in rockville,ct.That is about 1/2 hour drive for you and it's turbo Blue,maybe even 105
octane.It is like $4.65 a gallon,but worth every penny.I dont know of anyone closer to you that sells it,but just ask around.
BTW,the "PIKE",aka the berlin turnpike is only about 15 minute drive for you and almost every friday or saturday night lots of stuff going on down there.That is if you like fast cars and street racing,LOL

Ahhhh, the berlin turnpike, cool to hang out but the cops are crackin down hard! Hey would anybody be down for meeting up at the pike on a fri or sat night? It would be cool to meet up with some fellow evo drivers and just hang out!
