To be completely honest, I would not want to see any Lancers there. (or any other makes/models for that matter) This is an EVO bbq meet. That is how we started it and that is how it should remain.

That being said, it's a free country.

I'm not sure if you're saying that you agree with what escodotcarter wrote and are suggesting that non-Evo owners look in their respective sections to find meets for their car, or that you feel that any car should be allowed to this particular meet because this forum caters to a variety of cars?

If you meant the latter, I do want to point out that the creators of this meet literally put the word "Evo" in the name of it. I don't think they were trying to hide the target audience lol...

With that being said, we have had non evo's at the BBQ , usually it is due to them being broken.

Some of my friends have Lancers and they participate.
The thing is this, I personally don't want this to turn into 300 cars and get kicked out.
We almost had that once. And that was only 100 cars, 88 were evo's.

I just request, if you are coming, fill out the Google doc.

People are posting they are coming with no participation, I'm not about that.

 

I'm still trying to figure out if I'll be around that weekend or not (already had to cancel another show I wanted to go to for my wife's father's retirement party lol).. as soon as I confirm that I'll be there, I'll be adding my name to the Google doc.

 

I just did a little Google Mapping to see how far out of the way it would be for me to meet at your shop, and it looks like you're only 9 minutes away from the final destination?

It looks like I would be driving right by your shop no matter what, so if I can make it that weekend, I'll stop by and join the caravan.
