the Cops Busted out the Helicopters too. There were alot of EVOs also, but scattered. I would approximate at least 40 EVOs.

So for the real story was that someone BROKE into the food stand where the bathrooms were and that was the final straw after all the racing which got all the cops pissed

hmmm being that my close friend is a bmw engineer, i wouldn't buy into the E-46 M3. The motors have blown up stock (i've seen in person) they are fun cars, but modified they can't compete. wait until they drop a v8 in there and the m5/6 has the v10. than the m's will be back on track. The new m3 is just to pigish for me and the already maxed out motor from the factory (besides if you add forced induction you'll prob blow it up) makes me cringe. They do handle well, fun to go side ways, have some great brakes, and look nice. I hate that raspy exhaust sound. Btw My "old" m3 would own a new m3 anyday. it had a proven motor in it, not something that bmw pieced together that wasnt really developed by M (motorsport)

That is so far from the truth though its not even funny.

The new M engine has EVERYTHING over the E36 one...having built and raced both, I know

The E46 Speed Cup car we just finished positively OWNS the E36 we did the last couple years in every way imaginable. Now with the TEC3 and the VANOS, it's a whole other dimension from what the E36 ever could hope to put out.
