How much dyno time do you typically need to flash an Evo with basic mods (turbo-back, intake, MBC)? I ask because $400 sounds like a very good price for a custom flash including dyno time. Makes me wonder if that number will start to climb through the roof once you actually get the car out on the rollers.

BTW, I'm asking because I'm seriously considering the Turbotrix flash. I really don't want a mail-in and most of the other tuners are just too far from home (NYC/Bergen County NJ area).

EDIT: I just noticed Turbotrix is located in my hometown of Tenafly, NJ! Holy crap! How come I never noticed this before??? I'll be there for sure.

We need them on Friday the latest so I can put together a Time slot schedule for you doing the dyno day.

Yeah I only got my deposit in today. They gave me the wrong email address for paypal and after them not picking up the deposit for 2 weeks I emailed them and they gave me the correct address. So my deposit was there as of about 7:30 am this morning.

Hey emre ,,

Please note we moved from tenefly .. we are now in edison NJ .. That is probably why you havent seen us. As far as hidden costs for dyno .. There is none. Ask around we dont get you on the dyno and sell you parts ( ie fuel pressure reg ) that you dont need. The deal is 10 cars for that price. 400 and thats it ...

Joel we need to speak. I had two people as back up. But you suggested that we did not need them. I had them go to TT directly.

8 people is fine.

Hi Mark. Yeah, that would explain it. There used to be a place on County Road across the street from the Mobil station near the BMW dealership. I remember seeing a bunch of DSM's there a while ago. Was that your old location?

Very cool. I'd be very interested in having you work on my Evo. The problem is, I won't be able to make the dyno day next weekend. I guess I'll have to come by some other time on my own.

BTW, right now my car is basically stock except for a Buschur cat-back. Would it even be worth getting the car tuned at this point? I ask because I'm planning on upgrading to Bushur's full 3" turbo-back system (with high-flow cat), installing a Hallman MBC, and adding a K&N Typhoon kit (mostly for sound...I don't expect an improvement). I would need to get a second flash after all that anyway, right? So maybe it'd be better to wait until everything is installed.

Joel, I didn't get any of my stuff in today so I have to back out .
I will need to have it installed somewhere since I wasn't able to remove my stock dp and cat. I need to jack the whole car up in order to get it out.
"Phone book method" might be ok for oil changes but not for this
