Im outta toms river, nj.. about a month ago i read an interesting article in the paper. the nj state police gave 25000 to the dover township police to try and crack down on street racing. Along with this includes traffic stops for any vehicle that even looks like a modification could be illegal. When you get pulled over theyre allowed to legally inspect your emmisions/exhaust and all the other good stuff. i thought i'd better start watchin out...and the other day i got pulled over. One block away from my house and i get pulled over. the officer gets outta the car and walks around my lancer twice.. twice! before even coming up to me...then walks to my window, and asks what mods i have done to the car. i told him (my ****s all legal, so he had nothin on me) and he nodded and said ok.. then he tried to tell me i was weeving in and out of cars on the local highway and that was his reason for the pullover. the only fallout was i wasnt on that road that day...odd...so thats my story...made a few calls and turns out what theyre doin is legal. so it sucks over here on the jersey shore.. just givin everyone a heads up to be careful.

A while back they stopped me in Edison NJ for having an exhaust on my honda. They tried to give me a fix it tick it but then I pulled out 2 PBA cards. They let me go but unfortunately they took away my cards. $hit is getting harder and harder every year.

 

What's a PBA card? I live in southern MD and I have a bunch of s*** done to a honda, so you think i'd get pulled over for somethin, but I never do. (knock on wood) Lowered, loud exhaust, dark tint, blue front turn signals, loud stereo, but no attention from the cops. Street racing isnt much of a problem around here tho.

A pba card is a card that means you know a cop. Whether you are related or a friend or whatever. It is basically a get outta jail free card. I got pulled over for 39 in a 25, had an expired card that wasn't even mine and i got off. I've gotten pulled over twice since then. The first time a different pba card got me outta trouble. The 2nd time my x-g/f's father pulled me over and got off. Hope my luck doesn't run out. (knocks on wood)

 

PBA.. Policeman's Benevolent Association card... Its a card the PBA gives to you after you make like a donation to show that you support them by funding them. But you can also get it from cops if you are related to them or just know them. I got mine from my uncle and the other from a friend. Unforunately I was so dumb that I showed them both at the same time.. I think Pitbul09 is a cop ... How bout hooking all of us up man?

 

Don't come up to Harford county with that stuff. The cops up here will be all over you with some of that stuff. They are starting to crack down on lights(blue lights up front, stupid washer lights, and etc) and loud exhaust. I not sure about tint or how low your car sits. They will get you also if they here your stereo. I got a warning for it last night. For once I ran into a nice cop.

In VA now people can call your tag # in and you'll get a written warning in the mail... I think if you get 2, you have to go to court. It's like a bad joke. Cocky-*** Washingtonian people get mad at anything around here... it's scary!

 

Where exactly is Harford county? Guess i should know so i watch out for cops if i drive thru. I'm movin' into Harford hall next semester at UMD college park but thats all i know about it.

 

Harford county is right above Baltimore county right below the PA state line.
