Coming home from the Red Sux game last night around 10:30. Who were the two EVOs I saw pulled over on Fresh Pond Parkway in Cambridge, by the State Police?
I hope you made out okay. Whatever happens, appeal it.

 

What color EVO's were they? I have a ralliart and i was in the area last night, but must have missed it. I saw the cambridge cops radaring concord ave though one at each mailbox on either side of the main concord ave straight-away.

 

Sorry, but the evo owners in Boston aren't all that cool, I only know a couple who are cool, Sillysphere, Chinalfr, some kid who works at BB in watertown. I see evos from time to time and either wave at them or give them the thumb up, never have the favor returned..... If evo owner saw me, feel free to say hello, I usually drive in the allston/cambridge/Storrow drive area. I have a sliver evo with evoVII tail and JDM badge....

Where do you guys go for installs, non-dealer work, tuning etc.? Trackdays?

 

as I don't have much on the car, intake/exhuast, dynoflash, BOV and some smaller mods. I usually do it myself or have Chinalfr help me. But there are some shop around allston area, lke PF modify, T3 Motorsports..... I perfer to do the mods myself just so I know who it blame if something got F...ed up . So far, the car runs flawlessly...

as for trackdays, I went to Deven field for AutoX (www.nescc.org), track day info can be found at SCDA (http://www.scda1.com/schedule/) I think the last one for this year is the 27th of this month. I'm finally gonna get winter tires this year(last winter with summer tires was no fun) and do some Ice racing with the BWM club this year! (http://www.boston-bmwcca.org/events/bulletin.asp?type=2)

Nice ! thanx for the info... exactly what I was looking for. Last year I was driving down soilder's feild road and I saw a bunch of evos in the parking lot by the park. I stopped in and said hello.. prob same crew?

Sadly I will be in the carribean on the 16. No worries about the wing... I got too much attention from cops and kids, I'd rather take **** from other evo owners. It will go back on for track days.

I've done all my own stuff as well... I just don't have the set up to do cams or turbo work. I'm looking for a local shop with a good evo customer base.

I get so jealous of the people here who can go "hang out" at Vish, Works, etc. I think pruven is the closest but still to far for me.

 

One of the Evos was Black with a wing and I could not see the other one, because they had pulled onto a side street for the nice state policeman, but my buddy said the other car was an Evo as well. One more reason to go wingless!

vvcools, I went out to Devens for the first time on Sunday. The Porshe Club was running an AutoX and it looked the *****. There was a White Evo RS parked there, but I did not see the owner. I didn't run the course, but after watching the Porshes out there, I definately wish I brought my car.

I've actually only seen very few Evos arond Boston, since I got mine in June. Gave a BBY Evo the thumbs up though the other day in Andover.
