Evo Purchasers from Boch Mitsubishi

i bought my evo from boch mitsubishi (but haven't had any experience with their service depart.) and was wondering about evo owner's experiences with boch's service department...also i was wondering how many of u guys don't take the car back to the dealership for servicing.....the reason i ask is that i live in quincy, ma and it's a bit of a hike to get to boch mitsu and i don't wanna make the trip just to get a new one ripped into me when i can go out and pursue the long tedious work of finding a good local mechanic.....thanx in advance for the feedback

Boch is pretty good for service. I live in Waltham, but I will usually trek down to them to have work done. They are good about mods- I have EBC and intake, but they don't care, in fact, the mechanics and service people like to chat with me about the work I have had done. They have also done some work under warranty for me no questions asked. Furthermore, they always provide a rental car for me if it is going to take more than an hour.

The only times I do not take it there are when I just need an oil change or something else small. Otherwise, I bring it there always.

One thing to remember is to treat them with respect and they will do the same to you. Do not go in there and start *****ing and complaining about whatever.

they are very good. They did a motor swap for me on my 2G and I bought my 03 Evo from them. They have replaced my rotors free of charge, and they dont care about mod as long as the problem in question isn't directly related to the mod. Richie is an awesome rep, but you need to go with him to point out the problem. The lead tech over there has afully built GSX so they do know what they doing. I live in allston, supposely peter fuller mitsu is really close to me but I go to Boch anyway, Peter fuller is horrible with sales, parts and service.....avoid them and go to Boch.
