So does the cloth on the doors remain. I think it sounds cool but i would like to change that out too. personally i would want it all to match.

I beg to differ, my racing seats recline, are adjustable, and match quite well. They arent leather, but I dont want them to be, I hate leather (freezing in winter, scalding in summer). However I got them more for comfort and support than for looks or flashyness.

BTW, they are sparco torinos.

No, I dont have back racing seats. That seems kinda rediculous IMO... I dont sit back there, so why would I pay for them back there? If it didnt look absolutely retarded I wouldnt even have bought a passenger seat.

And yes, I see where you are going with this. No my seats didnt cost $750. They costed close to $1500... but you pay for quality. I COULD have simply had my seats re-upholstered for ~$700 but then where's the support? I hated the stock seats, so I went the extra mile and just got rid of em. I'm not trying to say yours dont look good or that its dumb to get them re-upholstered. I think yours look good, but leather just isnt my thing. To each his own.

I'm sure you can find racing seats for under $700, but who wants APC racing seats? ::rimshot::

The leather looks nice don't get us wrong. However I can't imagine having stock leather seats....I would be sliding all over the place. The stock seats have no lateral support whatsoever. It's like a bench seat. If I were going to put $1000 into seats (or $720) I would get a better supporting seat. The Torinos are one of the best seats you can get and match just fine. You can get Sparco's starting at $200. They don't recline, but you get what you pay for.

Reincarnate, how much total were the Sliders and adaptors? Do you have part numbers?

I got the mounting brackets custom made by www.mmrusa.com, but they were mucho dinero. Get the RMR brackets, I'm actually thinking about getting them and replacing the MMR brackets. (MMR brackets took some "rigging", still not happy with the job)

I dont know how much everything was individually, I got it all in a package (aside from the brackets that is). The sliders are universal though, so are the adapters. If you get the RMR brackets, they will match up perfect with sparco sliders.

[EDIT]: pics here: DToX Pages

[EDIT RE-EDIT]: Oh yea, the MMR brackets also sit really low... I've gotten used to it, but it was really wierd at first. I dont know if the RMR brackets do too.

Thanks Reinc.

On a site I saw Universal base mounts and sliders. With the combination of these 2 can you install in a Lancer?

Anybody have a review on the RMR brackets?

So thats where the Easter eggs come from....

I dont know... if you get sparco seats, sparco sliders and adapters are def. the way to go. and with the RMR seat brackets, install should go seamlessly. I however, spent 11 hours one day trying to rig my brackets into working. Wish RMR woulda had the brackets out sooner.
