new here, evo time!
hello, i am in the market for an evo and i was wondering where u guys recommend i buy one from? im hoping to pick up an 05 with cloth seats and not that extra sound system add-on they have. also how much did u pay for yours?
I bought my Evo from Korum in Puyallup and I had a pretty good experience I guess for buying a car...
. I got my 03' for 28,900 + all the other crap they add on. When I was there the other day they had a black w/leather in the showroom and three others outside. I think silver, white and red. I would reccomend people to them, ask for "Vic" he was my salesman.

i believe i can talk him down on price of one they might have. i wont be able to buy one until the summer cuz im being deployed.
im gonna give up my 04 rx8 for an evo. i have it on a lease and i hate it. its the worse way to waste cash (cuz of my lease). i dont even wanna talk about it anymore LOL! i told vic and he almost fell out of his seat. he is gonna help me end my lease so i can get an evo. personally i dont think i can wait till the summer but i must. ..thats when i get alot of cash!

ok guys can u pass along some info for me?
1. how much did u pay in the end for your evo including tax
2. your interest rate for the loan and your recommended bank
3. monthly payment? and how long is your loan for?
my biggest situation that i am working on is ending my lease early on my rx8. its a very bad lease and i dont like it. im gonna have to cough up some serious cash for this lease end. its a good thing im going to the "sandbox" for a little while, ill come back with some cash to fix all this. i really dont wanna get into my current lease right now LOL! its a sticky situation and kinda embarrassing.

Go Mountain Mitsubishi and ask buyin At MSRP or take Markup off.. They are Good.. Owner (steve) like evos.. he drive 05' Yellow Evo i think 04 or 05'... they are awesome
Interest rates and monthly payments are entirely up to you. Your best bet is to show up at the lot with a pre-approved loan from your credit union or bank for the value of the car (not the sticker price or the dealer markup, but the actual VALUE). I don't think there is any such thing as a good dealership or bad dealership, they are for the most part filled with crafty salesmen that will say anything to sell you a car and rape you for the price. Just go to different dealers till you find one willing to part with one of their 'precious' cars at or below MSRP and you can't go wrong. Just make sure there aren't 100 or so hard driven miles. Salespeople love to brag about how fast it is, and that they've personally driven them hard...yet their lots are full of cars that haven't been broken in yet. Do the math, they are doing it in brand new cars & trying to sell them as new after they've been beaten to death
Caveat Emptor and good luck!

i would get a quote in person from 3 or 4 different dealers, when the one you get a good quote from doesnt have what you want, they tell the dealer that does have the right one for you, the price they offered. make them get into a war with eachother.
it doesnt say where you are from, but most of the portland guys including myself bought from Premeir in Beaverton oregon. they seem to always have a few in stock, but the experience with them is not the best. i however wouldnt reccomend Dick Hannah in vancouver, as i had a horrid experience with them when i was getting mine. good luck.

Hey. We bought our 03 Evo with 15 miles on it at Mountain Mitsu. We paid MSRP for it. We had gotten a good deal. You should really go down there and speak with Glen (sales manager) or Casey (in financing) to see what they are able to do for you. Ryan (Haze1995), Joey & I, Cory(the done up yellow Evo), and some others have bought our Evo's there and have had no problems with them. We had a really good experience with them and they are awesome. Whenever I walk in the door, everyone knows who I am because that is what they do, and they are very good at it. To them, it is not just a sale. I would recommend them to anyone.
Take care.

I got mine from Auburn Valley, they've been pretty good to me so far. I had the first MR from their dealer and one of the first in the area. I got it for MSRP + TTL. I agree that you should go around to a couple of dealers and dicker on price. I was at Auburn valley 2 weeks ago, and they had a grey MR there with a 6000 markup IIRC. I know you can get rid of that easy.
good luck,

Email all the dealers in your area asking for there best price on what model you want. But if your in a F-up lease then you are probably going to get shafted either way.
Good luck.

i can fix my lease this summer by paying the offset cost to end it. i will have a ton of cash coming back from the sandbox. i will see what i can do. if i sell my lease to the dealership this summer, i can put a big down payment to pay off the negative equity from the lease.
i will be doing some running around talking to dealerships to see what happens. i will stop by mountain mitsu tomorrow and see how things go. probably early afternoon! if u see a white expedition up there with a stangnet sticker, thats me!
