I have a hotel request...
Can you make sure that there are a few bars within walking distance. Since the night of the 14th is Michael's 26th birthday I want to make sure that he doesn't remember any of it. Plus, if he's too hungover to drive the next morning that means I'll get to drive his car (watch out Shad!)

did you hear anything back from the dealer about it? were you thinking we would just be "hosted" at the dealer for the day? maybe they set up fliers, and we light up the boards to say we will all be there. if it was at the dealer that would be slick, as we could go early and clean up our cars, as they will get dirty on the drive up. how far of a drive is this (from seattle)

 

It is about 3 hours with the border patrol and all.

There is a Sport Compact Nights going on Saturday as well. I have been talking with the promoter to get details. He responded back and said we would have to be there on Friday between 5 and 10pm. Also he said he could give us discounted registration as well as his discounted rates at the hotel. Need your feedback for this?
Northshore Mitsubishi is usually closed on Sundays but they are going to be opening on Sunday for us. They are giving us a place to park as well as having a BBQ of some sort.

 

i dunno about three days in canada, i also dont know about paying money to "register" my car. what do we get in return for this "registration"? free parking? i would like to know more about this sport compact nights thing...

Yes there is a registration fee. I know you guys are coming far. However let me ask you, how much are you guys paying for the hotel rooms and how many rooms were you looking at? The reason I ask you this is, I can get you into our hotel under my rate and also give you guys a discounted registration fee for the event, and that might come up to the same amount or close to the amount that you guys are probably paying for just the hotel. It also gives you a chance to enjoy yourselves at our event and meet many other tuners. With the fee you also receive a tshirt, a goody bag with products and 2 free VIP tickets to our show.
