Not to rain or anything, but isn't there a monster truck rally at the TDome this weekend? I have no idea when it's supposed to start, but a little less crowded place to meet might be better. I have a tendancy to get frustrated and not show up to things when I can't find the people I'm supposed to meet. Call it a character flaw.
TooFast: what has speedzone thrown on the table for us.
Here's what im seeing so far:
They get: free advertising all over the Sound region, a show of force at at least 8 events for an unspecified amount of time (job and family come first, I can't do 12 hour shows) (and I presume these are non racing events.) And I'm sure there will be other stipulations (i.e. each car must come washed and waxed to each event, rain or shine, etc.)
What do we get? Free stuff? Discounts? Free admission to the aforementioned events that we're required to show up at?
If they're like other sponsorship contracts and we don't keep the contract (that is, five members at least at at least 8 events that they choose) then the whole group has to pay back the sponsor for discounted parts that were part of the sponsorship package. Sometimes you can return the part and only pay the difference between the sponsored discount and retail, like you'd rented it at full price, if the part is in resaleable condition at the sponsors discretion.
How do they feel about our RRM stuff? Do I have to give up my strut tower brace, rear sway and test pipe?
Are they a producer of performacne parts or are they a retailer?
How well do you know these guys?
Rollin 12deep on a Saturday night up and down I-5 is one thing. Being in a contract with a group of people that we don't know is another altogether.
Ease my troubled mind, my man.
