hey i just wanted to see if anyone was interested in going. maybe we could get a group rate of some sort if 15-20+ are interested. i have been the last 2 years (race only) and had a blast. this year i was thinking of making more of a weekend thing, as there is a ton of stuff going on on friday, and saturday as well as the race on sunday. prices are extremely reasonable and the date is June 18-20. (fathers day) anywho if you root for paul tracy, or sebastion bordeaux then i am talking to you. (actually i havent kept up as well as i usually do this season)

I'm on a list at work for free tickets for all 3 days, so hopefully I can get those

 

man...... perks at work are always nice. the scaffold company that i used to work for sets up a huge bleacher for the event. last year i wasnt working there, but was still good friends with some guys that did. turns out another excavation company working out there needed some help moving some stuff, my old company lent them the forklift, and they offered us a few tickets. buddy called me, and i went, didnt think much of it. well i went race day, got chauffered in, (no parking problems, or walking) went to a private BBQ they had set-up right at the turn after the festival curves, FREE BAR, FREE BEER, and blackjack. not to mention a contest with a 1k prize as to who would win the race, and free food. costed nothing, (except $30 at the table, and tips for the bartender) and i had so much fun. weather was amazing, and the view was awesome. we need to hook up something like that! but seriously if a few guy wanna go we can drink TECATE (sponsors, so the only brew available) and enjoy some motorsports.

 

well, I'm only gonna have the job for 2 more weeks, so I doubt I'll be getting them might be able to come up with enough money for one day out there.....

 

bump...... just in case. i've gotta buy tickets this week.
