Lemme know whats going on with those, Jon .. as a co-workers husband here owns a print/sign shop .. I can get an estimate atleast and see how much it will be .. might be able to get a good deal. And I may be able to get before HIN.

As well, do we wanna come up with a "small" logo that could be fit on a wing corner or something? I liked the blue Mitsu logo with "TLNW" below (the one that had the ##'s on it), but would prefer no #'s on mine.

The one question is, what dimensions? Height and Width? I'm thinking 3"-4" tall, 30-44" wide.

We want just the logo, or a banner made that includes the logo? Here's an example, lemme know which and I'll get a price.

Me personally, I'd want two decals to go on my rear windows. Not the part that rolls down, but the little section behind that. I'll try to get dimensions today.

So what does eveyone think?

I want to talk to this person at work and see If I can get some vinyl decals made for HIN next saturday.

I want to get the graphic eric made and put 2 on my rear side windows (the back ones). The width of this window is like almost 7 and a half inces. So a 7" vinyl decal would fit perfect. In photoshop, im using 545x135 and its 7" x ~2" ..

Other options are front windshield banner and rear windshield.

What do you others think?

Ok, I need some information from whoever is doing the printing.

1) What resolution should the images be? Pixels per inch.

2) What color should the background be. Obviously if the background is white then I can't do a white version. And jon would like one.

Lemme know as soon as possible that way I can resize and redo.

I'd like to vote for a clear or slightly tinted background. Also, will there be color choices? The rear wing windows get

I will make a version with any colors you want.

As far as clear or tinted go. I have no idea what the posibilities are with this, as i don't know how they are printed or who is printing them.

545x135 is about s 7" x ~2"

so that should fit well on the rear side windows.

You're not understanding correctly. 545x135 is NOT necessarily 7" x 2". It all depends on the resolution.

For instance:

At 72 ppi, 7"x2" = 504x144
At 144 ppi, 7"x2" = 1008x288

When you tell a computer to give you 7 inches, it just multiplies 7 by the resolution. And gives you the appropriate pixels. The inches mean nothing.

So, knowing what resolution we need for the decals means we can appropriately size the image to 7"x2".

i think it would look pretty cool if you inverted the black and white and then made the black background transparent

Do we know who's going to be producing the decals? Will Joel be making them at home (like his samples Friday)? Will Steve's coworker's spouse get us a deal? Is Pop-rox in the decal industry, too?
How much? When can we get them? Enquiring mind wants to know
