Portland OR, parts & performance shops

I've spent thousands of dollars at speed concepts on my previous cars, but only because they have good prices. They have really really bad customer service. I have never been asked if I needed any help....and I'm a chick!
I've bought the vast majority of parts for my previous Eclipse and current Evo at Speed Concept. Tony's prices cannot be beaten unless you have some crazy hook up and buy things at cost...I've never seen an advertised price lower than Tony's and Tony doesn't charge shipping! They also do cheap installs of basic stuff and they even put a clutch in my Eclipse a couple tmes. There are no shady people working there, just people who probably don't know exactly what you need, and want to sell current inventory. In other words, they are sales people. If you go in there and know exactly what you want, you will walk away happy. If you go in there and use their advice for what to put on your Evo instead of doing your research in this board and elsewhere...then you are asking for it...but that's no different that going to 99% of performance shops. However, Tony has an Evo now and seems to know a lot more about Evos than before. He even sells Walboro fuel pumps now...which isn't common for your average tuner shop. Anyway, my main point is if you are looking for the best prices for things you researched, Speed Concept is the best.
For hardcore engine work and tuning, Torque Freaks is pretty much the best game in town here.
EDIT: I take that back, English Racing has been in the 4G63 business forever and I would trust them to do anything with my car as well.

Horsepower Freaks & Torque Freaks. I drive all the way down from Seattle to use their services. They are the only shop in the NW that is in the Evo community. The rest are local shops.

Actually Pina Motorsports in the Seattle Area has done alot of Evo stuff and it turns out very nice.

Well I appreciate all of the kind words about Torquefreaks. My primary focus has been the EVO market as I feel that they are a great platform that reacts very well to modification. Hence yes I try to do things for this community. Having an in ground AWD dyno is a great start, but thanks to all of those who have been our customers here and the results we can pull out of their Evos, makes me feel all warm and fuzzy knowing I had some small part in increasing the performance. Its why I do what I do. Its really neat as an shop owner to see so many Evo owners come to us as the shop they trust.
