I'm out - TC is broken, so no EVO until Tue next week .

 

Void- what happened? Was that on the drag strip? Any advice to help us avoid breaking that?

 

I've never dragged the car, but I do drive it pretty hard (it's an Evo after all). I noticed some odd noises from the driver side front under load, took it to the dealership, and they told me the TC is done. Car has only 9k miles on it, so I don't think this is "normal", and it is being replaced under warranty. Going forward I'll change my TC oil with my engine oil, just in case (I had not changed it at all so far).
