Mt St Helens run
14 August NWE is driving to Mt St Helens, leaving from Chahalis. Sort of a final drive before I deploy. Let me know if any of you guys are interested.
Bump to this one!!!
We will be doing a Mt. St. Helens drive on Sunday the 14th. We will
be meeting at Everett's house at 10 am and hopefully will be
departing at 10:30 am (depends on how much we catch up with each
other before hand.) ;-)
Everett and Marlena are awesome enough to invite them to their home
for a meeting place as well as a BBQ after the drive. So, please
bring whatever meat you wish to grill for yourselves as well as a
side to share with others(i.e. soda, chips, potato salad, macaroni
salad, pasta salad, etc...)
Hope to see you there!!!

To all you guys from Portland area, Chehalis is about the half way point from Portland to Seattle. Only Around 1 hour to 1 1/2 hour drive from Portland. So hopefully we can get some of you come up for this drive and BBQ. It will be fun. Everett

Here is how the drive will go if if sounds good to everyone. Leave my house around 10:30. Travel down Hwy 6 thrue Chehalis down Main street. Turn right onto S Market Blvd stay on road until it turns into Jackson Hwy. Take Jackson Hwy to the end turn left onto Hwy 504. Hwy 504 takes you to Mt. St. Helens. Probably 1 1/2 hour drive. Hang around Mt. St. Helens for awhile check out the view. Hopefully the mountain stays calm. Drive back to my place have a BBQ and meeting. Probaby get back around 2:30 to 3:00. Does this sound OK. Their is a shorter drive down I-5 which is boring. Or a longer way Thrue Hwy 12 and Randel. If any one needs directions to my house call me or Jo. for directions. (360) 880-6749. Everett
