Any Evo's In the Bellingham Area
It was great to meet you guys too. WAVE I wish I could have stuck around to check out your MR, but the gal I was with was only in town for the evening, so I didn't want to push my luck. Pretty much dig your setup Abicus. Cams, tune, BOV, MBC, fuel pump, Intake here I come....... (E)VO sorry we missed you, hope we can all hook up soon. I have a 99% chance of moving to Bellevue by mid November for a new job, so hopefully we'll meet a couple more times. See you all around....

There were the 3 of us, (E)vo's red one, the other black Evo with the red stickers and a blue one with a paint/graphics. I think that's it. I could be wrong though.

I'm game for hanging out but my weekend is monday tuesday. I can meet up during the day any other day seeing how I work nights. Keep me posted guys. Actually, I'm moving into a new house right now and once we get all moved in we're going to be having a monday night football BBQ/poker night etc. I'll let you guys know which monday. Some guys from work were going to bring their bikes and we were going to go out and shoot some video and do some "pulls". Good times.
I'm game too! Let me know a time. I'm free after 2 each day. Abicus, let us know about the Monday night thing.
WAVE counting Me, you, Abicus, (E)vo, and the two you mentioned.....I've scene another Tarmac that works at BP refinery (see him driving to work on Slater). Also another black EVO by Bellingham Tech College. Near Marine drive and Bennett I spotted a blue MR with the loudest exhaust I have ever heard. Spotted Yellow 8 at GoodGuys. Grey MR at Joes Gardens (that could have been yours) Thats 10 give or take a couple. We have some recruiting to do.....

How is everyone? Starters, I own a 2003 red Evo 8. I have had it for about 10 months now, but the last 2 months I have not been able to drive do to my job. I am currently deployed and still have several more months away from Washington. I am in Oak Harbor but every Friday and Saturday I hangout in the Mt. Vernon/Burlington area (when I'm home). I currently, have the full Injen setup on my Evo (short ram intake, downpipe, cat delete pipe, catback exhaust). Ok for starters and the short time I had before I had to leave. I am in the process of purchasing a piggyback ecu, slotted rotors, clutch and flywheel, short shifter, bov, headers, and possibly a few smaller things to smooth out the rough edges and make the car more efficient (spark plugs, grounding system, steel braided clutch & brake lines). I do have plans to replace every stock part on the car, but that is along ways away and a lot of money. But you have to start somewhere. My biggest question is; Who or what shop is reliable enough to work on an Evo? World One Performance has come up on numerous occasion, but I would like to know from other owner's personal experience, on the quality workmanship that was done on their Evo's. I don't want just anyone working on my car. I want someone who is familiar and knows how to tune an Evo properly. Anyway, I look forward to any responses. I wont be able to get on too often, but if work permits I will get on to see what you all have to say and maybe bounce some ideas around and answer questions you all or I might have. Later.

Pina motorsports in Seattle has been recommended to me several times. I have heard they do very good work as well as custom fabrication. I personally have my work done by a former mechanic of pina. I don't know how much work he's accepting right now but I'll be in touch with him and if he says ok I'll pass on his name in a PM. How long have you been stationed on whidbey? I live in Bham but grew up in oak harbor.
