Any one going to Battle?

Just wondering if there are going to be any Evo's at Battle of the Imports this weekend at Pacific Raceway. It would be nice to see some other Evo's there running some quick times. That is of course assuming it doesn't rain this weekend

was planning on going, but not racing. I am still pretty new to the whole drag racing thing (not that good).

That's cool, I'm gonna look not to good either once i get worked over by some big turbo'd Supras. I'll just be there to have fun. You should get out and run some time only passes as long as you're up there, i'm sure you'd enjoy it.

I was there a few weeks ago and was up against a Supra. I beat him on the launch but once he hit third gear it was over.

I was planning to go, but I am out of extra 20 bucks.

I checked the weather for Saturday and it says it might rain later in the afternoon.

I was there last year. Had a lot of fun. There were some purpose-built imports running 10s.

Yeah, that was me. I definitely didn't have my best night at the track. Still managed to qualify #3 in street tuner though. There were a couple really ugly passes thrown in there too, I don't think I really wanna talk about those.

a guy from over here won the street tuner class in his dsm, i was pretty impressed on the times that it ran, but it should be WAY quicker than what it is

Jake??? Yeah hes got massive traction problems, Maybe 215 tires are a little small for 140+mph eh???

He almost kissed the wall at the top of 3rd after he turned on the nitrous, that track is never prepped well enough.

Yeah, that was strange, I made a pass of 11.9 at 114 bouncing off the rev limiter in qualifying. Reset the ecu before my next pass, and ran 11.9 at almost 121, pulling strong up past 7600. I haven't had that problem again since, so I have no idea what happened. Thing that made me sad was that I had my best 60 ft of the night on the pass that my rev limiter kicked in prematurely. I was hoping to get down somewhere around 11.6 or 11.5, but I had fun anyway. That DSM i raced in the semis was definitely putting down some power though. Looked pretty vicious pulling away from me on the way to a 135 mph trap speed.
