Talking good night at PIR

I had a good night at PIR tonight!

Best run = 12.071 @ 114.54mph

Also ran a best trap of 115.03

now I just HAVE to get an 11sec. run so I'm goin' back tomorrow night.

Who's goin' tomorrow?

Little,
Looks like I missed you. I saw you pull into PIR but I ended up having to leave earlier than I wanted to and I didn't have time to say hi. So did you hit 11's??? I noticed you switched back to your stock rims.

Little - I got into the shop today, finally....my alignment was WAY out....wierd toes and cambers, all different, caster was way off, all kinds of fun stuff. The inside edge of both my fronts was completely bald, and due to the wierd cambers and such, my contact patch was effectively nil. I guess that's why I always spun a lot if I launched higher then 5.3k!

J dog - no 11's yet, I only got three runs all night it was busy and people kept braking down. All three runs where 12.1 though.

Turbojunkie - Thanks. I do have trouble geting into second some times, I think its a driver issue.

J-dog - I switched back to stock wheels & tires because the 255/40-17's seem to be slowing me down in the 1/4 mile, but they are awsome in the curves.

Little great times! What gas were you running? I have never raced my car at the strip. I still drive my evo like my minivan. Need to loosen up a bit. Does the clutch make that much difference at the strip and at how many miles on stock before ACT? Thanks.

Hahaha, My signature is a little confusing because I still have thew stock clutch in my car. I have an ACT in my garage ready for install but have not done it yet. For ACT questions ask Turbojunkie, after this weekend I may have to start thinking about installing the ACT.

Nice consistent times. It seemed like every other run someone was breaking on the track...crazy. BTW, How much were this big ol' tires slowing you down compared to stock?

Wow, very nice times / traps, congrats on them!

I just had a few questions for ya... Have you had the car dyno'd w/ this setup? If so, what kind of #s were you seeing, and on what type of dyno? I am also curious on what type of fuel you are using - please share when you can
