yeah thats why i might have to go to a different state entirely cuz i wont pay more them msrp when i was down in alabama last year they were practically giving them away at invoice cuz they dont have the demand that they have here for the evos. hell its even a fight just to drive one.

FWIW: I about 800 less than MSRP at Rey Reece for my '05 RS 1 year ago today!
But trust me, I had to work the deal.

i saw what seemed to be decent prices at a trip to dick hannah in vancouver this week. the sales guys are idiots, and i didnt buy there because of that, but they had 10-13 of them laying around.

DICK hannah...the first name might mean somthing. I bought a new Jetta TDI wagon for my daily driver 2 years ago and actually contacted over 50 dealers in the western US. Some internet sales manager from Dick H. gave me the speal about how they couldn't be beat in prices because they have less taxes and costs then Portland Dealers. They realed me in lieing through their teeth and totally wasted my time. When it came to the price however, they said, these cars were in such demand that everybody sells them for atleast $6000 over MSRP...but to get my business they would take a "loss" and drop it a 1000. I had 4 dealers in the PNW willing to sell for $1000 dollars over MSRP and a dealer in Mousula, MO and Pheonix go to MSRP. But Rey Reece went $1400 under MSRP after much bargaining and ordering the exact car I wanted from Germany so they didn't have to have flooring costs. It took 3 months to get...but so what?
When I bought my EVO I did not even consider DICK.

^ yeah you arent the first guy to have a bad experience with them. i was just there the other day, and they had a bunch of them sitting around. in fact they had a black 03 w/ 20k miles, covered in rock chips, horrid tires (kumho somethings) that they wanted 31k for. if my 04 w/ 25k is worth anything near that i should sell it today. i paid wayyyy less than that brand new. i dont like them much, but with some skills, and that many cars sitting around, it seems like you could get a deal.

They have a black 03 there with 37k, is that the one your talking about they are asking 24988.

no ^ i saw a different one when i was there, it had less miles and they wanted much more.

I hate everyone at Dick Hannah. Town and Country in Milwaukie, OR is decent for service, but be wary. They had an 04 Ralliart wagon as of the end of the summer and they still wanted around 19 for it. It might still be there. lol
