Now knowing that there is a "REAL" Evo presence in Anchorage, How many of you guys Autocross? Or want to try it out? Our cars are more than capable to handle the twist and turns.
As the Evo has been dubbed in numerous publications as the "Cornering God" or some thing to that effect...

There is a first Competitive event this Sunday at April 29th at Alaska Raceway Park.

If nothing comes up for me I'll try to get there on Sunday.

i've been to one autocross it was more of a old school porche even. I would like to check it out and see how alaska does it especially with all these AWD vehicles, probably won't compete though

 

i want to but i leave for fairbanks on sunday to go to some training for a new job and will be there for a week.

 

Let us know when you get back. We need to have a meet for the month of May. Prob a BBQ then a drive for another photo op

it came with the car when i bought it. its a good system but i just can't seem to get it to work on my lap top so i'm gonna go with a AFC and wide band to tune.

 

any 1 has a stock evo muffler want to sell it.Please let me know...

 

well i'm going to fairbanks tomorrow for 5 days. So any of u evo guys are in fairbanks and want to meet up let me know. be nice to get some pics with the fairbanks crew of evos.

i want to do some auto X. guys here in fairbanks there are so many subies and they all want to race me. i won't cause my car is not tuned and the clutch is ready to go

 

Hey MVM - Saw you run the auto cross- I was the white Evo IX. Looked like you got a couple good runs in- those subies were beating that track up!!
I wanted to drive it but I had just got done installing a clutch (13 hours of misery) and I'm still breaking it in. Nice to have it going again on the Advans!!!

 

If you were outside by the fence then I got your Evo confused for a Silver VIII

What kind of clutch you got in and what happened to the original? I kept up messing myself up on the 180 turn part of the course .
