Boostin Performance built Joey "Junk Box" evo and Strictly Modified with the Green Monster, and both run 2.0LR and have 900 hp. STM's RS also runs a 2.0LR and runs 8.7. It's just a proven motor to get that 8 second time slip. Then I'll probably tone it down for a street car.
Haven't checked here for awhile. Anyone know the legal limit here for tint? Was thinking of getting it thrown on at cca over spring while the cars there but been told to not even try it as I'll be constantly be harassed by apd regardless of %.
I wouldn't mind BP to build it, but I refuse to do any business with David Buschur. Just seeing how he reacts on the forums, being a complete douche, so I take my money elsewhere.
. I wouldn't buy anything from Buschur as well, what a ****ing tool
It honestly depends on the car and color. Contrasting colors will have you pulled over more frequently. I've told multiple friends on their BMWs and Mercs to get 30% on their front and rears. They've never had any problems by doing so. It's just dark enough to give it a nice shade, while not bringing too much attention at the same time. Anything 20% or lower and you'll place yourself at risk of getting pulled over.

70% front, 40% rear as still indicated on muni website. Up to a $300 fine. It honestly depends on the car and color. Contrasting colors will have you pulled over more frequently. Looking past that, black on black will have you pulled over the least. However this varies on the vehicle, Subarus for example are heavily targetted by APD. They see a spoiler on the back, they're going for you. Also do not tint the full front windshield in AK, this pisses them off the most because it's extremely dangerous.
