Anyone know any place in the area that could get me out of about 6k of neg equity.... Because I was dumb and bought a brand new Ralli-art and should have bought a used one.

20k brand new - only worth 12k a year later and I owe 18 and some change

I would like to get into an EVO... getting married sometime in the somewhat near future will free up some ins. $ and then some income benefits increase as well...

The girlfriend doesn't want me to... So I can't do much research at home... she is afraid I will get into the same predicament I am in now... but seeing how the 03 8 is worth 25k IAW(in accordance with) NADA and trade - in is 22... that is really good compared to where I am standing now... plus if that is where the EVO stands on the market after 3 years... I don't see the numbers getting too much further apart.

because the last time i went in there.. I was looking an 02 subie 2.5 RS and they tried sell it to me for about 3k over what it was worth and when i questioned why they wanted 19,000 for a 16k car the sales manager asked me to leave... needless to say about 2 weeks when I went to buy my Ralli-art the manager at Korum asked me about it and said he was fired... not just for me but for a few deals that went sour like that

Do they still ask you to sign your initials "the secret handshake"?

 

i bought my lancer at mountain, sun was my sales guy, everyone there was really nice.. i have bad credit and they still got me a nice deal, with an extended warrenty i only paid about 10000 for my 02, with 7% intrest ( no way you can get 5.5 with my credit )

they wern't pushy at all, and i was in the lot with sun looking at cars for about 4 hours, he never tried to rush me. one thing i didn't like, they lied to lure me into coming, i called ahead and asked if they had any used OZ rally 5 speeds in stock, he said "we have about 5" and even varified with me that they had one in the color i wanted, when I went the next day they had NO OZ rally, and not even a used lancer 5 speed

 

also, the guy that did the financing, the night i was there i signed all the paperwork with a 15% intrest rate and like $280 payment, when i went in the next day to pick my car up he told me he got me a better rate and lower payments, so we re-did all my paperwork =]

 

sounds like alot has changed in the past year...

when i went in they kept trying to get me to sign for the subie before I even knew what was going on ... at 600/ a month payments... they said they couldn't do me any better because of the -3000 equity on my 02 ES...

But I went to Korum about 2 weeks later ... they gave me the Ralli-art at invoice the rebates covered the neg. equity and put 500 down on the Ralli-art...

I might just give Mtn. Mitsu another chance...

 

damn i had 6000 negative i i got a killer deal.And if I desideto trade my 8 for the 9 it will be true mountai mits.

i was at mountain today, they have a ****load of evos on stock if thats what you're looking for ( like one of every color parked out front, and an 06 MR inside )

 

i wa just there the other day. they have 4 IX MRs ( GG, EB, 2 apex silver ) and a IX RS ( i think ) and that's just in the lot. they have another GG IX MR in the showroom.

I would like an RS... to save me the time of removing the spoiler.. and its a bit lighter as well..
but I want a used one.. 1) so I don't have to break it in... 2) so I don't get hit with a huge depreciation like I did my RA

 

they had a used 04 or 05 a couple weeks ago, rally red, had a spoiler though
