I have a Turbo XS MBC that came with my UTEC laying around. However I am currently deployed and wont be home till the middle of January. I would help you out but you know? If you still need it when I get home, let me know.

I have a hallman MBC, under my hood. If you only need it for a few hours, I could meet up with ya, toss it on your car, do your testing, and put it back on mine.....Of course, my car can't go anywhere without my MBC!

Well, you could, but you would only run wastegate pressure which is ~11-12psi.

Not quite. Try 30 psi. It takes pressure to open the wastegate.

Think so? Go disconnect your boost controller and go WOT and tell me what your peak is. What you said totally contradicts the entire purpose of a wastegate. It's there to prevent overboost LINK

*edit: This is how mine is currently set up as I am waiting to install a new boost solenoid since my old one is crapped out. With the vaccuum line from the wastegate/lowerIC pipe capped off, it will indeed only hit 12psi. I know from experience.

I know that when you pull the wastegate line on a 16g you push 26-28psi.

If you are over boosting, then you have a boost controller issue. What boost controller are you using? Are you using the factory vacuum lines? If so, did you remove the restrictor pills in the lines?

where are the pils located (I have 2 WGates 12 and 19 PSI) 12 works fine but 19 overboosts with boost controler. However it works without it just by pluging it directly.
