The cop said that with the new laws they may suspend my licence! I have a pretty good record, only 4 tickets in 16 years of driving and the last one was 2-3 years ago.
Any insight?
Anyone have this experience.

If you run a good methanol kit you will gain more power then you would running on race gas. You have methanol injection constantly available in your car, you wouldnt want to pay the amount to run race gas constantly. Those are the reasons race gas is gay when compared to methanol.

I think radar detectors and jammers just give you a better chance of avoiding the situation. They're sure as **** not going to slow your car down for you, and there is the chance that officer might have something called "judgement", where he can tell your obviously speeding. My v1 has saved me from many speeding tickets, my license would probably be gone if it weren't for it, so I see value in it. If you dont like a particular thing, like for example race gas, it doesnt mean it's "gay". If race gas is gay, you should go tell that to the hundreds of racing teams that use elf race gas. I'm sure they would be utterly appaled to hear that they are using homosexual gas. Maybe they will switch over to methanol to add more weight to their cars because some dude read on the internet that:

Who said anything about sanctioned races? Obviously they are talking about street and occasional use. Jim was saying it was “gay” or not practical to use race gas on the street
Ok let’s look at your side. Running race gas all the time.... at 10 bucks a gallon it’s going to get real expensive real quick.
Or we have methanol injection... which only turns on when you hit high boost and cools down the combustion better, gives you better a better octane rating then c16, and its relatively cheap for a couple gallons that will last you a long time.
Which is better now?
Reading comprehension must elude you because Jim stated all that in the part you quoted. God this place is worse then TOONERS.
Calling people names shows a high level of maturity as well.

Whatever happened to constructive and respectful criticism? For the most part everyone has made valid, yet debatable, points but the delivery is questionable. Lets all have a group hug and move one. We NW people need to stick together.
To get back on the subject title. Sorry about the Ticket Little I take that exit as well to get home and the cops love to hang around by the Sylvan hills. Good luck in court!

I was simply stating that gas doesn't have much of a sexual preference. I was also stating that by "better", I assumed we were talking about quality. My third assumption was that this was an arguement about radar detectors and speeding tickets, and I was stating that anyone who uses the label "gay" other than for homosexual human beings is not someone to be arguing any points and be taken seriously. And I was also saying that if methanol were truly better than race gas, then the people that have put so much research into actual race-cars must be missing something fairly important. Don't call me immature, I'm not the one using the vocabulary of a 7th grader, nor did I realize that the word "gay" was synonymous with "not practical for use on the street when compared with methanol".
Back to topic: little, that sucks! Did he say if it were reckless driving, or just speeding? And he may have been jsut trying to scare you with the revoking your license thing. I would talk to a lawyer if it gives you piece of mind though.

And apparently this fellow from the internet knew that you could create more power with methanol? Wow! Im sure the engineers behind the Subaru world rally team will be thrilled to here that "race gas is gay compared to methanol", and will switch over immediatly, 'cause they are most likely just n00bs.

Wow this guy is one of the more pathetic guys on this board. Lets changes someones name, ok. I dont know where you get your facts about methanol being heavier then race gas? How about you try to say something with some facts behind it or something relatively intelligent. Then well talk, but for now your just some *** with an ultra leeett stage 4 WRX

Wow do you get out much? I think the broad majority of the world knows that by saying something is gay means it sucks.

Pump gas + methanol = the weight of one tank of gas plus a reservoir for the methanol... simple enough? On a race car that uses lightweight everything, there wouldnt be much point in spending the money for kevlar mirrors just to add 16 pounds of methanol to the front of the car, now would there? Did your parents drop you on the logic part of your head?
Your talking intelligence levels and still use the word gay a descritor. Cool. Wow, calling me a *** too? I'll see you in the showers *****.

The cop said that with the new laws they may suspend my licence! I have a pretty good record, only 4 tickets in 16 years of driving and the last one was 2-3 years ago.
Any insight?
Anyone have this experience.

i have a question that is actually on topic - were there workers in the construction zone? i only ask because yesterday was sunday and i don't usually see workers out on sundays, and in most states they can only give you the ticket if workers are present. i mean come on, how many "construction zones" have been up for months, YEARS even (there was one in orlando where i went to school that was only 3 miles long and took them over 2 years to complete!) but never have any workers. i'd look more into that to get your fine reduced before going the lawyer route.
good luck man.
