I'd like to make it, but I'll be out of town. Hopefully I can get all my parts back soon and start tracking it again.

hope it turns out better than the BMW event Saturday. I've seen less traffic during rush hour, and just like rush hour Nobody would let you by.

People were blocking and no blue flags? Sounds like another one of those lame events where you have to wait for people to pull off line instead of just going off line to pass. I hate that. If they just let people pass off line then everyone is happier, because it cuts the people coordinating the pass in half (1 person instead of 2). I remember some kid in an integra race car wouldn't let me by on the back straight (kept crowding me over) and then on the front straight he wouldn't pull offline. Corner workers were asleep too, I eventually just pulled into the pits and told the worker to let me back out when there was some space. I hate when people's egos get the better of them and I hate when clubs state that the person being passed must pull offline. Same happened w/ a Lotus Esprit twin-turbo. It's funny nobody ever gets blue flagged when I am behind them, but as soon as I pass somebody I get blue flagged to let the person behind me by...that I just passed...I've noticed the same behavior by corner workers at the Lotus, Porsche, and Shelby clubs. I don't know if they are just biased, or unedcuated and assume the 4-door with the big wing is obviously slow, and if it is behind somebody it must have just gotten passed... At any rate, all of those problems sort themselves out if you let people pass off line.

I don't want to think it was car ego, there were so many cars in a line, I believe they all wanted to pass.
I pulled off got back on, only to catch the same crowd again in the same lap! twice. Not till the last session of the day did I manage a clean lap.

What didn't help were the Sunday drivers out there, they should have been down a group.

And, to be fair, there were quite a few clean ups, guys trying to be tops in the rain, one guy managed it on the cool down lap. In the afternoon when it did get dry, they may have still had the fear in them.

That sucks... whenever I've been there I've had very little problems with let bys. I've been pretty luck though and it hasn't been crowded...
