LOL im not a person to mess with the ecu ..but torque freaks has some of the best tuners in the northwest..plus all the equipment and all wheel drive dyno. im good friends with mark the owner and he wants to invest in all the equipment and software to get it up and running here in the nw...i like the fact that we can offer this in our backyard

Sounds like a good idea, but I just wish it wasnt torquefreaks doing it, because honestly I havent heard anything about their tuners since John left.

Hey guys. I'm Derek, the tuner here at Torquefreaks. I have done several Evos now, mostly EMS cars. I'm also a big methanol injection guy, been doing that and selling kits since 2001.

John Reed never did ECU reflashes when he was at TF, and he's not doing it now. TF has been mostly about stand alone systems (and some piggy backs), and so is RRev. Just look at the supported systems. No EcuTek, no Utech, no Technosquare, etc. Hondata being the one exception (both RRev and TF).

But being the new tuner here, I have made a big issue of supporting reflashing. So together with Paul we are proceeding with the Technosquare system for Evos. Paul's car will be the willing guinea pig if you like, although I have no reservations about doing his car. I can tune anything that's tunable. It's all about a good and consistent AFR with optimal ignition timing, like tuning anything.

We will freely provide a dyno graph with observed AFR after Paul's car is done. We will let the results speak for themselves.

After that, we will be offering some introductory pricing on reflashes, and we'd love to get a big group in here for that.

I need a tune! Regardless if its AL of TF. I buy most of my parts from Horsepower freaks so TF would be a good beat for me; they put my exhaust in for me. Let me know prices and when everything is going to happen because i am interested either way.

Would you tune a GReddy emanage blue for an EVO 2005 MR?
How many hours will it take? and is a dyno needed?
