Evo on X-box

Spent an afternoon with the game developers at Xbox. They are using my car as model for the Evo on the upcoming "Project Gotham" game. They took pics, strapped on a dozen microphones (to get authentic sound bites) and had me do some dyno runs. Kinda fun afternoon... will be getting a free copy of the game, my name in the credits and got a free dyno. My best run (on a Mustang AWD dyno) was 270hp, 273 torque. Thought there were errors, so the dyno was recalibrated and got similar results. Holy horsepower batman !!! thats about 320-340 hp at the crank !! i have to call the ppl that ran the dyno again next week cus they couldnt believe it and wanna run some more tests

To add seeing you are AWD wouldnt you have more hp to the crank than that? My buddy has a 97 cobra and is putting out about 340 at the crank and dyno'ed at a little over 280 to the wheel. AWD's have a much larger drive train lose than a rwd car seeing that I think you would be making more power than 340 at the crank....any mods or still stock?

Project Gotham Racing 2? **** I can't wait for that game. Coming in 2004. Gotta love that game. That's good that they decided to add the Evo to the roster. Can't wait.

I'm guessing you got it Dyno'd at FAME/Dyno Authority? When I got my car dyno'd there they gave me flywheel power instead of wheel...they might have done the same for you

Is that stock or is your Evo moded? Cause those are some high numbers.

All car manufacturers quote the power at the flywheel since it gives a higher number

yup, it was at FAME. they gave me hp at the wheels (or else i wouldnt have insisted that it was too high) they estimated it to be at 320-340 at the crank, which again is too high. they seem to be right on the mark with the wrx and audis that came before me though, so i'm confused. looks higher than the dynos from the other evos on the evo forum... unless i have a factory freak, the dyno could be off.
