Thinking of selling - what do you think it's worth?
I'm thinking of selling my '03 Evo and was wondering what you might think it's worth. I just don't drive my Evo much and need the garage space. It has 9k miles with 2.5k on a new short block. Here's the info on it:
AMS stage 4 - 3071R turbo, tubular headers, all ceramic coated, EGT probe in header.
Vishnu Xede w/ Smart and Xflash (injector scaling) tuned by Shiv at his shop.
264/272 HKS cams, ARP head studs, Kinetic Engineering FMIC, AMS LIC pipe, custom UIC pipe and airbox hardpipe by Pina. Forge RS BOV, stock airbox.
AMS downpipe, custom exhaust by Pina (magnaflow oval muffler + 2 magnaflow 4" resonators, test pipe, hi-flow cat & 02 simulator.
AMS 680cc injector (flow tested & calibrated), Vivid fuel rail, walbro pump.
RobiSpec basic suspension package, Enkei 9.5x17 wheels, Michelin 275 PS2's.
ACT HDSS clutch and street flywheel, stainless clutch line, restrictor removed.
Stainless brake lines, Porterfield R4 pads, Motul 600 fluid. Redline fluids elsewhere.
Optima battery in trunk. Criag Hardy gauge panel w/ Autometer Fuel pressure, Oil Pressure, Oil Temp, Boost, EGT. PLX wideband w/ wireless data logging.
Schroth Rally 3 harnesses, Camcorder mount, Razo 1 lb shift knob. Stongard paint protectant film including headlights and extra pieces around the fenders.
All stock parts included except wheels and tires. Most have less than 1,000 miles.
I put in close to $20k for these mods not including labor. I'd rather not put the car back to stock and sell the parts but realize that I won't get anywhere near what I have in the car. The car is well sorted out and runs great. It should be a bargain for someone looking for a great road/track car. What do you think it's worth?

Sorry to hear you are thinking about selling it Eric, I know you've spent alot of time and money on that car, I would at least have to say you would want to get rid of it for NO LESS than 28k, I would pay 30 for it If I had the money because I know how well You've taken care of it.
Good Luck.

You could part it out and probobly make an extra 5k, I would personally do that, But time and labor is a main factor. I say this, If you can't sell it as a whole for 28-30k (which will be hard) I'd part it out.
God If I could get cheap insurance on this, I would be all over it

If you are patient, you may be able to find a buyer that wants your car , as is. I ended up selling my mods after turning the car to a dealership. It works out to be about the same when you factor in the tax credit when picking up a new car.
This is a great car...anyone whose seen it in person knows this....sorry to see it go...
...if only I was making the big $$ I would pick this up and have it as my weekend fun car
