Harbor point

Hi guys!

- My first post - I have probably seen a few of you around at various trackdays and autox's. I currently drive a '01 miata - so hello!

I am anxiously getting things in order to be able to buy a new IX. I have pretty much decided on a non SSL-IX, probably in GG. For me it seems to be the best deal. I am really considering making my way down to SoCal for the purchase, but I have to sell my Miata first. This is making me contemplate making the purchase locally

I have 2 questions about Harbor Point -

1 - Any general comments on the dealership and thier willingness to sell below MSRP?
2 - All the Evo's had the front license plate bracket installed, if I remove it, will I have big gaping holes in my bumper?

Thanks,

Marek

go to south coast and see mark. plus, if you drive it home, you get to put all the break-in miles on in one trip.
my new 9 came with the front license bracket in the trunk and no holes for it.
I bought a non-ssl 9 for marks' out the door price with NO extras or surprises. it's a pretty straightforward deal.
I tried to get the dealership here to at least come close to the price, but they wouldn't even talk, and no followup phone call, which led me to believe that they weren't even in the ballpark.
they have a ssl 9 on the lot stickering at 38900. been there for months.
good luck and remember, if you trade a car in, some of your leverage to negotiate is gone.. always better to go to a dealer and negotiate w/o having a trade-in

good luck
