Whats wrong with it? What shop yo working with?

 

I have a clang when going from stop to reverse, or stop from forward. Its loudest in the rear center differential. They miked the chassis to get that far. Its been a month. Finally have mitsu corporate rep approval, and they think its the limited slip clutch faceplates that are bad. They are replacing all the rear center diff internals and my axle stubs. about 2 grand in parts. I get it back tomorrow afternoon <fingers crossed> If it doesn't stop there, then its the transfer case they replace next. Apparently there are two others (posted under HELP... Dealership) and they might be experiencing the same thing.

I finally ended up going to Beaverton Mitsubishi for this one. I started with D.H. Mitsu, but there are problems with their license there, so they don't have much capability anymore to do things without rep intervention. Was taking too long.

sorry I got OT with it.

Even if it had been an STi... I would've felt the same. I wanted to just give them the keys and tell them to keep it. I hope this solves the issue. I'm tired of it being in the shop.

 

I will ask the wife, I might be able to make this one. I will let you know.

 

D.H. mitsu sucks I went there for my clutch and tey pretty much told me i was SOL, i was pissed cuz i only had 5800 miles but whatever not trying to be off topic, hopefully i'll see you and everyone else there...

well the weather will be nice, as for the last 6 years it has been sunny on that day.

and i am really looking forward to some feed back on my EVO wing on my STI, lol.
