congrats on the buy ifarted. trust me its not as easy as you think to get the 35r outta the hole. you will need to change your whole game as far as launching goes. should be a moster when your done. im supposed to getting a maf pro and meth kit this next month. we should have some fun lining up together

Alot of people take the big step up to the gt35r and find out just like junkie its not as easy as just bolting it on and running 10s. Personally I wouldnt go up to the gt35r, something like a 50trim would be plenty if you want mid 11s.

Junkie the maf pro and meth sounds familiar.....

why even bother with the maftpro when there is the ecuflash software ability to change maps for meth without meth etc..

ecu flash has no fail safe if the meth goes down or has a issue. a map pro can be set up to hit low boost if the tank is low or the line pressure drops. i use a piggy back afc to fine tune for race gas and i can sell that and my greddy ebc and have both in one unit. so in the end i wont be paying much. also looking into the possibly a 2.3 kit instead of the mafpro and meth. group s has a real good deal going on right now. choices choices. as mr patterson said, a 50trim dbb is good sounding turbo. im allmost wishing i would gone that route instead. oh well, 2.3 and 35r sounds good too

Maf Pro is a good setup. It will be my next mod.

2.3 with gt35r will be fun and drivable.

Nice yeah i think everyone agrees TF are one of the best in the area, they did some small stuff for me and are cool as hell, and one of my buddies from high school works there so they let me sit around and hand out every now and again.

Id have to disagree. As long as I own a car with a 4g63 I will only go to English Racing. RRev would be my second choice. I had good experience with TQF back in the day, but seems like things have changed over there.

Jim do me favor and try not to bash local shops here...i know all the guys down at torque freaks and there just trying to make a living and do a good job. as a business owner myself i know how hard it is to just get your foot in the door. From my experience ive had nothing but awesome customer service and no problems with any work they have down there. from the pst ive seen you write on the forums...your a few shy of a full deck

I have nothing but good things to say about Jason, he was great when I brought my dsm to them a few years back.

However the experience I had with TQF this year made me lose all respect for them and I will always tell others to go elsewhere.

Ehh to each their own. That's what makes it so great. People do have bad experiences, and some have awesome ones. I for one, like to hear all the opinions of all before offering up my car to somebody to tune. The level of intelligence somebody has doesn't always matter when it comes down to the level of service they received. And also, some shops just aren't as good at some items as they are in others. So, IMHO, its good that people on here are allowed to voice all their perspectives, positive or negative, about a shop. Its one of the only places where people can be heard to a massive amount of people.

Besides, it seems that one of the best ways to sometimes get a shop's attention when they refuse to do anything for you, is to go to the forum and complain about it. Its amazing how much a shop's attitude will change once their negative interactions have been aired to a larger group of people. Just my two copper pieces.....
