I honestly wouldnt go any higher then 22psi on pump gas, unless there is something on xede that allows this. But to me anything above 21-22 on pump gas is asking for trouble, the few more hp you may or may not make from the extra 1-2psi is not worth the risk.

Here is how to do it:

First fire up your laptop and connect it to the XEDE.
Open Xmap 3.2
In the bottom box it will state "connected" to the XEDE
Go to the "map" menu and hit "download maps"
once it finishes downloading, save it
Then click on the boost button
A map will pop up and you will highlight all the boxes in it.
Then hit ">" 3 times (Doing this gives about 1 psi). This will show all the numbers increasing.
Save it again (under a different name)
Go back to the maps tab and hit the upload maps.
A box will pop up after it uploads asking you to "burn to EEprom" click yes.
If the burn to EEprom doesn't pop up go to the maps tab and click it there.
Now your maps are loaded in the XEDE. Turn the key to the off position.
Now your ready to go.

23-24psi is perfectly safe on pump w/ the XEDE, SMART, and a bigger turbo. I have run up to 26psi on pump w/ no knock. Most of the time I keep my boost pressure around 24psi, but I get spikes up to 26psi in the winter.

So? 550cc, on the stock ECU and stock turbo, will support 23psi on pump. I know, because I ran that way for 10,000miles. It all depends on how much timing you throw in at peak torque.
