KORY got Addicent in Tacoma Merge I-5 but there have Thread
aight, I already posted this up on NASIOC.com.... so I gotta let everyone know on here so i dont get a gazillion phone calls about this ...


Its a simple story of crapy Tacoma drivers.. - going northbound on I-5 ..incident happened at 56th Street/S.tacoma mall BLVD exit. At the point where oncoming traffic from east bound 56th street merges into the on ramp/merge lane, they have to yeild to make way for freeway traffic exiting the freeway and proceeding onto the ramp towards West Bound 56th st. Its a yeild point for the people trying to get onto the freeway and crossover traffic...



So as i was proceeding to get to S. Tacoma Mall (off the 56th st. exit), moderate traffic, 30 mph 3 car lengths behind another car and slowing due to more traffic ahead.. this lady, 19, maybe 20, begins to merge right next to my car and is staring at me about to hit my car - I looked at her car to make sure she wouldnt hit me, steer the STi to the LEFT, and 'BAM' the car in front of me had momentarily slammed on their brakes due to someone ELSE not yeilding ahead of them... 3 total cars were hit, nobody hurt, and I was only going 15 mph, lights on, everything right.... stupid stupid stupid stupid... The moment I turned my head back, it was already too late...



My first Reported Public Accident where someone else was invovled -



The damage...

-ARC Front mount intercooler - bent and out of contorsion... maybe reusable?? - highly doubtful...

-Condensor - DONE... smashed in

-Radiatior - DONE... smashed in also

-Greddy radiator shroud.. DONE.. bent into an 'L' shape..

-JDM headlight - DONE... I think I can salvage the blinker...

-HELLA Horns - DONE... Both bent in...

-ABS control unit - bent out of bracket - Wiring harness is snapped also...

-Front Right fender - Bent out from impact

-Front bumper - BROKEN - I managed to save the STi JDM front lip... scratched, but OK!!!

-Seibon Carbon Fiber hood - Smunched to a crisp - Can re-use the scoop!



No engine damage as it looks right now. the STi died as soon as it impacted, and the belt was thrown off track - nothing impacted the engine except the timing belt cover. .. Dear God I hope the timing gears are OK...



Blah, bad bad day - 3 weeks til i go to Iraq and this crap happens.. OK had to vent...



Cant wait to get my STi back - only to have it go back into storage a week later.. haha... wonderful week...

but he sent to Specialist Collision (dave and Cody) shop and they will fix up and new parts..
also that he going IRAQ in soon 3 weeks..

Teenage drivers shouldnt be allow to drive without a adult till at least 21 IMO. they are by far the stupidest people on road. especially the girls. if they are not putting on makeup or fixing their f-ing hair they NEVER pay attention. the number one leading death of people under 25 is auto accidents.( news report on friday channel 2) sorry the rant, but i was allmost front end clipped this weekend by stupid little bioch that was turning way to sharp and fast while chatting about her peroid or something on the cell. aaarrgghhh. i wanted to spit into her window as she pasted by. i dont think my aim is that good tho.

 

hey im right therewith ya. i got run off the road coming onto ft. lewis of all places and my IC's bottom row got all smashed up when i had to rally down side of the high way. oh well im outta here in like 20 days and the stock ic as well a few things is gonna go away so oh well right....

 

Chicks on cell phones is a death trap. I cant even count how many times ive seen near misses because a girl isnt paying attention while shes on the phone.
