I dont think you need a passport yet, but I could be wrong. Actually, Im sure you dont. My father just went up there for a camping trip and he doesnt have his passport. He just had to show his license.

In Oregon you can either have proof of citizenship, some bills, or proof of non-citizenship ala Metricula Consular cards...hell I think they even take food stamps...
