Switching Tires Maybe

The new tires are working but not in my favor. Dont get me wrong they work but I am thinking about going with my original choice, which was the Falken RT-615's. Only problem is they are a special order and if I dont like those then I am stuck with them. Lets hear your thoughts????

More overall grip, better heat tollerance (less likely to chunk, only important for track days, not autoX), stiffer more responsive sidewall.

They will not do as well in the rain (more likely to hydroplane) and I'm not sure on noise.

I'd say do it.

I think when the tires drop to less than half their tread depth ~4/32 the hydoplaning becomes more apparent?

probably the dont have the most tread on em, but seem like they will last 20k miles with just street and some strip driving, i will use stock tires rims if i get a track day in sometime.

Check out this store on Ebay -- http://stores.ebay.com/Fastlane-Tires-and-Wheels
Their prices are excellent, they don’t sell every size all the time, seems to rotate different sizes, just watch for your size. They also have free shipping!

Shouldn’t pay more than $160 a tire for 18's
