With it mounted that way I am guessing you will have idle issues.

just noticed the closeness to the throttlebody. How does it drive? Any problems? I know you asked me already, but I looked a little closer.

Yeah the idle is a little rough and i get a pop/back fire at high rpm but i havnt got my Utech yet or tuned it,other then that its great. I got this BOV and upper intercooler pipe for free from this chick i know. She is getting rid of her evo and gave me this and some cusco strut bars. But if its to much trouble i could put my other after market pipe on there and move bov to stock area.

Ugh, UTEC. Feel free to PM and I'll give you good advice on which direction to take.

this isnt an accurate post...we have much success with utec...

and..... the bov, once past the ic, will have little or no effect whether its close to the tbody or the outlet side of the ic....

whether its plumbed back in or not will...

some cars are more senstitive than others

cheers

Its just like the AEM EMS, ECU flashing and so on. Its only as good as the person who does the tuning with them. If you have a super tuner (or if you are a super tuner) you are set...if not

If you are VTA you are using the wrong adapter. That adapter is for recirc thats why it sounds like that. Put the horn back on and it will be loud. Locationwise looks ok but it does seem pretty close to the throttle
