Thumbs up Alarm Toast/Cool Shop(long read)

So here are the details. I bought a Compustar Alarm earlier this year and a few months ago it started to act weird. First the remote would not display any of the functions except the time, so I had no idea what mode the alarm was in. Then the siren quit working and I was like WTF! I took it back to the shop that originally installed it and they looked at it and were like I dont know what to tell you, you probably need a new remote and they are like $100. So now I had a $400 alarm that only locked/unlocked my doors. I was a little pissed about the customer service, so I was like whatever. Well recently, the Air Base had a small car show and this shop happened to be there doing DB drags for people. I spoke with the owner and told him about my alarm. He said to bring the car by and they would look at it. At first I thought to myself, great I get to bring my car to another shop and at best find out what is wrong with this damn thing and have to spends a bunch of money to fix it. So its been a few weeks since the car show and I got off work a little early so I decided to swing by the shop. I go in the shop and they say pull the car in, so I did. They immediatly dug into my car. Already this shop did more to diagnose the problem than the other shop. After some trouble shooting we came to find out that the alarms brain was bad. So what do they do? They grab me a new one and say dont worry about it. Then they went to work on the remote. They checked the antenna, then checked the wiring again. Then they pulled out a new remote and reprogrammed it. Problem solved! At this point I am thinking that I will have to buy a new remote. Not the case, again they say dont worry about it. I was really surprised at all of this. I tipped the installer $20 and fought the afternoon traffic home. What is the name of the shop you may be asking? X-treme Sound Car Audio in Puyallup. They are a car audio/car alarm place. If you need either of these things, I would definately check them out. The customer service is outstanding. If they treated me this well(I have never done any business with them), then imagine if you were a customer. Thats the end of my story, just thought I would share.

The pager won't transmit through a parking garage, and if it did, you gonna run out during surgery? OMG

Khalid- I'm a CT tech, not suregical tech. Our parking garage is open on the sides, so maybe it would work ?? Satelite radio works inside of it, so who knows. BTW when are we gonna meet up and reflash my car?
